How to do: ombre nails
Step 1: get a few shades of one color of nail polish and paint your nails the lightest shade. Soak your sponge in a bowl of water, then ring it out.
Step 2: paint on one stripe of each color back to back on a sponge.
Step 3: stamp the sponge on a peice of paper to get off the excess polish.
Step 4: lightly sponge on the polish and keep sponging until it has mixed, then put on a clear coat.

Water marble

Water marble
I did this the other day (those pictures above are of my results), and i have to say, they turned out better than i expected! I've tried this many times before and it never worked out but i kept researching tips on how to do them better and it worked!

What you need:
- a cup that you dont mind getting dirty
- several different polishes
- a needle
- qtips
- toothpicks
- tape
- polish remover (acetone)

Step 1:
Fill up your cup to the top with water (not cold, that will make it harden quicker). Outline your nails with tape so it covers your skin (it doesnt have to be perfectly alligned with your cuticles).

Step 2:
Take one nail polish and drop 3 big drops close to the surface of the water. Do this with all your colors, repeating your desired pattern.

Step 3:
With your needle, lightly drag it from the center outward until you get a design you like.

Step 4:
Dip your nail, facing downwards and horizontal to the surface of the water. Make sure you cover your nail completly but dont dip your whole finger into it. Get your toothpick and swipe the sides of your nail to get the excess polish away, and take your nail out.

Step 5:
Let your nails dry then take the tape off, and with your q-tip, clean the excess polish off from around your nail, and coat with a top coat. Ta da!
